Hello, and welcome back to another awesome Writer Wednesday! Today we meet Madelyn Hill, author of historical romance with heart, courage, and Highlanders. Woo hoo!
Let’s settle in for a quick cup of tea (or coffee, or water…whatever you’re imbibing) while Madelyn answers three questions, and then tells us a little about her latest release.
Which type of romance do you love most, and why?
I love historical romances. I love research and finding nuggets of the past that I can add to my stories. I also think historical romances are very romantic and have the most wonderful heroes.
Name two things people don’t know about you.
I used to be a Mechanical Engineer and I love to cook. I still have “engineer” tendencies and I can build anything. Power tools and complicated recipes don’t intimate me!
What’s your favorite romance novel of all time, and why?
Jane Eyre – I re-read this book every couple of years. I just love the Gothic romance and how Jane and Mr. Rochester find each other in the end.
Madelyn’s latest release is For The Love Of A Gypsy, which debuted April 17th, 2015. Here’s the mini-blurb:
“She has sworn her loyalty to her clan. He has pledged to prove his innocence. Together, Martine and Declan fight for their love and innocence in a world that seeks to keep them apart.”
Madelyn’s first book is also available: Wolf’s Castle – Soul Mate Publishing available from Amazon
